Q: QuestionDo you have to have internet to play the Switch? I understand you can download games via their EStore...but say ive already downloaded some games to my console, can I still play the games and enjoy them without being connected to the internet?

• A:Answer Depends on the game. I personally only buy actual physical games-and those don't need an Internet connection (although some games will have patches available if you're connected online). Plus of course obviously if you want to play a multiplayer game over the Internet. You should be able to download games from their online store and play them without a connection, but then you're stuck buying storage for them, can't easily move them to another console (if at all), etc., so if possible stick to retail games on cartridge.

• A:Answer You just have to keep checking randomly through out the day. Some people have mentioned Hotstock to track stocking but ultimately Best Buy doesn't know when they will receive stock because of the pandemic. You could try contacting your local best buy too but they probably won't be able to tell you.

• A:Answer You can save the Nintendo Switch to your list, but from my experience, I haven't gotten an email or push notification. I recommend still saving it to check it easier, and the Switch has restocked various times throughout the week. I have seen it restock in the early afternoon, so if you see the option to add it to your cart, do it fast and speed through the checkout process because it definitely sells out quickly.

• A:Answer On Monday nights around 9 pm best buy will get their stock of switches. Usually a very low shipment of the regular switches. I suggest waiting till Monday night and Tuesday morning and you will see them in stock

• A:Answer The answer to this question, which many people are asking, is not a clear cut answer. Many manufacturers are having a tough time getting parts to make the consoles themselves, causing problems for everyone who normally stocks these. I asked a store rep in my area and they said it could be within the next 24-48 hours, but the consoles sell out as soon as they come back into stock. You really have to religiously watch the website and refresh the page if you want a CHANCE at nabbing one.

• A:Answer They cannot do a preorder if there is no definite restock date.I reached out to customer service a few times and since there is such limited quantity they don't have many answers. However, the employee I spoke with on chat today was able to ship one out to me and send me an invoice. Keep trying!

• A:Answer It should apply. I mean I believe the 6-month financing or 5% back thing is a card member offer, which should apply online or not as long as your a BestBuy card member. I would go in the store and ask anyway just to be sure...but if you see the Switch in the store, I would grab it before asking just to secure it. Also if you ask in the store and it does not apply, they may be able to help you out and give you that financing, I mean you're buying a semi big ticket item.
