• Yes, you can buy game cartridges if you don’t want to buy them from the online Nintendo store. You do need WiFi when you first set up the account. After that, you can use your cartridges to play games. You won’t be able to download or play online without the internet though.

• Code you enter. No you don’t have to play online with people. You’ll need wifi connection to download but after that you don’t need it to play.
