• I would recommend a classic Mario title for example Super Mario Bros U Deluxe. It has easy to learn controls and can be played with others in your household.

• I'd say start with Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and then play Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. That way you know the story going into TotK. Plus the game with detect your BotW save file and bring over your horses as well as unlock certain things/Easter eggs based on things you've done in BotW.
