• You can buy extra controllers so more than 2 people can play! Just get an extra pack of JoyCons

• It will depend on the game itself on how many players can be supported, but you can purchase extra controllers to play with more people if the game supports it. For example, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will let you have 4 controllers for 4-player split screen gaming, and in Smash Bros Ultimate, you can have up to 8 players at once on one Switch.
