this switch not only has a better battery life, but they made it so the system doesn't get overheated or get hot as fast as the older system. Where the joy-cons connect to the system is sturdier and more secure. If you're considering between the two, I say just get this newer version because they both cost the same price
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've noticed that the battery life is about 2-3 hours longer than the older models out there when using 50% brightness screen. At full brightness its about 1-2 hours longer than the older models. The screen has this reddish tint thats sort of noticeable only when comparing it to the older one side by side. Its sort of like when different models of iphones either have a yellowish or blueish tint on their screens.It doesnt bother me at all and very non-trivial issue.
