• It is very stiff at first to rotate the camera -- however, that also makes it a very stable filming platform.

• It's very stiff, out of the box. I moved the swivel around while it was in my hand, prior to mounting to loosen it up. I believe it stiffens when resting, which is a good thing as you don't want it wiggling around while en route.

• Add your device/case and you ha e to man handle its initial movement. Try not to apply it to the location because you may remove the glue.

• It is by design bit tight to prevent any inadvertent tilt. You gotta use "little bit" of force initially. When attached with camera and other buckle, it's bit easy adjust. Do not force.
