• Yes there is an ac adapter that comes in the box. You can use the Blu-ray DVD player off battery or plugged in.

• Yes, it comes with an wall plug A/C adaptor for charging and can be played while plugged in. I assume it still charges while playing, but probably at a reduced rate.
