“Does this player only work on the battery, or can you plug it in at home?”

• You can use this with the adapter that comes with it at home, or in your car ( plugged into the car). And it charges so you can use it without electricity. However the battery only lasts for 1 movie or about 2 and a half hours. It is a real nice machine with a clear picture. The swivel screen is nice also if you need to move the screen for better viewing.

• I have never run it on the battery. I use the TEK AC Adapter provided to plug it into the wall socket to use house current.

• This has a charger cord that allows you to use at home and when charged you can use with the cord. We bought these for our homeschoolers and they work great!
