• It plays dvd and cds from Africa. Most likely will play yours.

• No this is NOT a multi region player. It cannot play my region 2 (UK) DVDs. It says on the display "wrong region".

• Africa is not a Region. South Africa is Region 2. So I would doubt playing DVDs from Europe or Japan.
