“I have a Sylvania SDVD1332 that I bought via Amazon Canada. Some of my DVDs won't play because they are not programmed for my region (region 1). For example, I bought the Einstein series but my DVD could not, or would not, play it. How do I fix this?”

This one does not let some of my daughter DVD's play at all ,it can be that they were not recorded right. So what I did I have a DVD -VCR recorder, I played it and recorded it to a VCR, then back to DVD. This one I could do because it was a personal recording, now the one that you have will probably not let you, so you will need to contact the manufacturer
