• I believe you can. I bought an unlocked phone and this sim kit. Called T-Mobile to activate. It worked.

• Yes. If the other phone is with t mobile, you are actually able to request a new sim from them for your new phone.

• Yes you can, but before that you have to be sure that the unlocked phone is compatible with T-mobile GSM network. After that, you can just call to T-Mobile to port-in your number.
