• Yes, you can use it to access data plans with T-Mobile. This is called the SIM Starter Kit for Bring Your Own Phone or Tablet and is meant to work with smartphones or devices.

• Yes. I'm using it in a tablet for internet access over LTE, HSPA+ and EDGE. It works just fine.

• It depends on which plan you use but NOT SIM itself. I have just replaced SIM with this kit and ALL works as usual.
