• Well it's pre-paid so you have a bit more control. You can buy minutes or make it a monthly plan. Either way, you're NOT locked into a contract. If you do autopay though, you can get incentives such as setting the date it's drafted from your bank account, and getting additional data per month.

• Both: If you currently have a T MOBILE phone which operates off a sim card and you pay your bill monthly you can take that same sim card and place it in this phone. Just Don't Activate the Sim Card IN the Box with the Phone! If you want a pay as you go deal there a sim card in the box which explains the value of that sim card. Best buy associates would help you.

• Its a prepaid phone. I used it to connect to ringplus.net. They have some great free promos if you wait for the right one.
