• The 2 tuner version only has 2 tuners whereas the 4 tuner version has 4 tuners. This means that with the 4 tuner version you can record 4 different things at the same time or record 3 things while you watch another channel.

• The number of channels a Tablo can play or record at the same time is equal to its number of tuners. For instance, with a 2 tuner you could watch a show while recording a different show on another channel that the same time. With a 4 tuner Tablo you could watch a show, record two differed shows on other channels all while a family member watches another show on a different TV.
