• The commercial skip only works if the station is broadcasting it and from what I understand most OTA stations do not. Fast forward will work when you are watching a recorded program, though. The guide only lasts for 14 days in the future, it does not last forever.

• I am not familiar with the commercial skip feature. The guide covers 14 days and has no subscription fees. It is advertised as having no end.

• There is no skip like on TiVo. It can fast toward and gives you a tiled preview to know where to stop.The 14 day guide is no charge with the 4 tuner version I have.
