No internal recording capabilities, you add a USB external hard drive for storage. The recordings are easy to schedule. The recording schedule will last as long as your subscription to their guide lasts. There is a lifetime option that for me was barely more than one month's cable bill, so I bought that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only records over the air broadcasts. You need an external hard drive to record these broadcasts.. It has two tuners.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I switched to this from a Tivo about 2 months ago. It's a more complex setup than Tivo, but once I got it set up it works great. The unit has a small amount of internal storage, but you will want to buy a 1 TB external drive (about $50). I like this because it lets me swap drives. One problem I had with the Tivo was internal hard drives failing. With the Tablo just swap in a new drive. The big difference is that the Tablo doesn't connect directly to the TV. It feeds the TV over the network. Tablo support was pretty good.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No internal capability in the 'lite' you need to buy the one with a hard drive built in (has a number in the name like 64GB). This one requires an external USB hard drive, available fairly inexpensively and you can get a very large one (I got 4TB) and never worry about deleting a show.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Easy to record if you maintain their cheep subscription.
