“Will this lens work on my EOS 5D Mark III?”

• I have the same camera, but I have problems with black edges on photos. I first thought it was because of the lens hood, so I took it off but still have those dark edges. I am returning the lens today. I dont want to return it, because no one else has a lens with that reach, but I cant use it and have to crop out the edges of every single photo. Hope this helps. (I have posted a photo showing what I am talking about)

• Cami, No, it will not work with your 5D Mark III as this camera is a Full Frame sensor body. the lens will only work on a APS-C crop sensor body.

• I connected a Tamron 1.4 teleconverter and that solved my problem!

• This lens is meant for APS-C cameras not full frames. You well get vignetting. Be careful because since the back of the lens protrudes into the body of a full frame camera the mirror might hit it and can crack.
