Full frame lenses can be used on 'c' or full frame cameras. 'c' lenses can only be used on 'c' cameras. Full frame cameras are more of a professional style camera and more comparable to a 35mm camera. They have a larger area of view and a 'c' style lens will cause part of the picture to be rounded rather then oblong. Canon full frame cameras start with the EOS 5D and go up from there.
