• Tough question to answer. High school football fields are so poorly lit. College fields are much better. It is a tad slow in focusing at night, but sharper then used $500-$600 Nikkor lenses. With the price point, you can't go wrong.

• No. We're returning ours as, unlike our older Tamron lenses, this is a piece of junk that does not even work properly
