The D5200 is new enough that you shouldn't have any problems mounting any currently produced lenses for the Nikon F-mount. The only real downside to the 5200 versus the more expensive bodies is that the camera doesn't have the old screwdrive autofocus motor from the ancient times; but, I don't think anything still in production is built for that old system.
