• This unit blows. The air is drawn from below and forces it toward the top.

• The air pulls from the bottom and blows up toward the bottom of the laptop. I keep my cooler pad open all the way so the air flow will be more but it is adjustable, which is also a nice feature that it's adjustable.

• Most laptops will suck air from the bottom up through the board and out the side. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT allow your laptop to sit on a bed or any other surface that may keep it from properly circulating the air.
