The two major criteria would be the size of the laptop and where the hot spots on the laptop are located. This cooling pad is sized perfectly for a 15-inch laptop - anything larger would have the edges hang over (which might not be a problem if the hot spots are not on the edges). The caveat is to determine where the hot spots on your laptop are located and see if they are coincide with the dual fans’ positions. My laptop’s hot spot is the battery (rear center) - so I ended up having to position my laptop slightly off-center on the cooling pad so that one of the dual fans could cool that hot spot directly.
