Yes, the fan blows

The noise level isn't particularly noticeable until you shut the laptop down, then need to unplug the USB connection for the chill mat to avoid running down the laptop battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I plugged the cooling pad into my computer, I noticed two things. First, there was a little bit of air flow underneath the laptop. Sadly this is not an adjustable setting of the cooler. Second, it was quiet except for the sound of the fans. I only heard them from time to time and they were mostly inaudible. There is no sensing or monitoring software included with this product. It also does not notify the user whether the cooling pad is plugged in and being used.

Or do you mean is it working at keeping your laptop cool? You should be able to tell a difference in the temperature of your computer. I can put my hand on it and tell it is cooler than when I'm not using the fan. I'm sure there's some way to actually monitor the temp, but I just go by feel.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is really really quiet. I actually had to put my ear up to it once it was plugged in to make sure that it was actually running. Unfortunately mine broke completely after 25 days. I do not recommend this product.
