- Answer This universal case may be too small for a tablet that is 8.7 inches since it is made for up to 8.5. We do have a universal case that is 9 to 11 inches that may fit better.

- Answer As this is a Universal case that is made to fit tablets with a screen size of 7-8.5 and the iPad 5th gen Mini is a 7.9 screen it should work for it.
