• Yes it fits the original iPad Air. And I believe there is a version for the newest Air.

• Targus makes separate models for the IPad Air and the prior models. The cases work the same but have the cutouts in the correct locations for each model. My wife has the older model and I have the IPad Air. The cases are labeled for which models they fit.
