• Yes. I would not use the I pad without a case to protect it. The 10 feet cord is worth the price.

• If you have the iPad Air, this case will work just fine, but be careful to get the right case. There is a difference between the iPad Air and the iPad Air 2.

• This case would be a good choice. As for the cord, make sure it's Apple certified, otherwise the device may not charge properly.
