Yes, it does 'fit' the iPad mini 4, but the sleep/wake mode does not work. It claims sleep/wake mode does work for previous models of iPad mini. Buyer beware if this is a particular function that you want.

Yes. It is made for the Surface 3, which is bigger than the iPad Mini 4. There is still room to have documents and even a mobile phone in it as well.
