“Is there anyway to turn off the sensor on the tv? It is so bright and difficult to sleep at night. I’m worried covering it up will prevent the remote from working.”

In order to turn off the Standby LED you would go from the "Home" screen navigate to: Settings -> LED indicator -> Power LED -> Off. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
