“The TCL site indicates this will play mkv & mp4 video files from the usb. I'd like to know if it's true, and that someone has actually been able to do that. I've purchased a TV previously that said it did, but it only did picture slide shows. Thanks!”

The USB supports the following formats: Video: MKV (H.264), MP4, MOV (H.264), TS (H.264); Music: AAC, MP3, WMA, WAV (PCM), AIFF, FLAC, AC3; Photo: JPG, PNG, GIF. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
