“Ipurchased a TCL-32" class3 series(1080p), I hook up the cabel box and turned on wifi but I can not program my remote for the box to turn on tv/box what am I doing wrong? I am not tech savy at all”

Our TVs are compatible with most Universal and cable remotes. Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control select functions on the TV. You can visit https://support.tcl.com/us-remote-codes for more information. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I absolutely may be wrong- but a friend has a Samsung - same thing. She must 1st power up her cable box with the box’s remote. She then uses her TV’s remote for everything else.
