“We have ATT Uverse cable, and the TV will not shut off with our Uverse remote. Is that something I can correct? Also, is there a way to mute the sound on the TV, we added a sound bar, and when the sound is down we get an echo effect. Thanks!”

Many Universal and cable box remotes can be programmed to control certain features on the TV. You can visit https://support.tclusa.com/tv-remote-codes for more information. Additionally, you may want to disable your TV speakers when using a soundbar to reduce this echo. To do this you would go to Home>Settings>Audio>Speakers>OFF. Hope this helps!
