Can I hook up a VCR to this TV? null

I believe you can hook up the "composite" output from most VCRs with an adapter cable. The specifications for this TV say it has "Display Connector(s): 1 x Composite video". One of the photos (copied here) shows a jack labeled "AV IN" and "adapter". I have different model of TCL TV with a the same input jack. I bought an inexpensive (about $5) adapter cable (see photo) that works with that TV and my VCR. Note that there are a variety of adapter cables that look like this one, but they are not all compatible with each other. Look for one that clearly says it works with TCL TVs. I did not find such a cable from either TCL or Best Buy. I searched the web for "TCL composite adapter".

This TV has no traditional inputs such as RCA or S-Video connections. If the VCR has an HDMI out it can. If not the best solution would be to use an RCA to HDMI converter (note all analog to digital converters required a separate power supply to convert the signal)
