Does the TCL remote have a mute button on it? null

My TCL does not have a mute (how dumb is that ?) An internet search shows TCL solution is to hold the Vol. down button for 3-5 secs. That’s not Mute ! And again, there’s no mute No buttons on the right, left top or bottom (Not a Roku model so maybe that matters but the original post didn’t say Roku)

The tcl Android tv and the tcl Roku tv are different tvs. The android version does not have any buttons on the side of the remote or a mute button. And holding the volume button down for 3 or 5 seconds does not work either on the android version. So those of you who have the Roku tv with the Roku remote have the option. Now people like me with the android tv and remote does not. But why would they make a tv without a mute button? Tcl can you please let me know

There is no mute button on the side. At all. None. Does not exist. Not there. The TCL TV, not the Roku based model, does not have a mute button on the remote.

No it doesn't have a mute button. this is why ill never buy this brand again. The instruction say hold the - buttoon fir 5 seconds. Lmao all that does is turn the volume off. Lame effort, imo.
