In order to use the smart features of this TCL Roku TV, you would need to complete the guided setup. This includes connecting to the Internet via WiFi, creating a Roku account (completely free), and activating the TV (completely free). However, if you just want to use this TV as a traditional TV by connecting external devices through the various inputs and not use the smart features, you can elect to not connect this TV to the Internet at startup. You will still have access to all of the inputs and features of a traditional TV. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to set it up with Roku, but from there you have a variety of things you can do. I have cable, Hulu and CBS all access and can access all through Roku. Also, I see an antenna icon so I think you can access network TV that way, and I see ABC, CBS and NBC icons in the Roku menu, but I didn't add them since I already have them through cable, but noticed that adding the channels requires internet. So maybe you don't have to have cable to access the network TV, but don't know for sure.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Just get an antenna and you will get your local channels
