This TV will work with your regular Spectrum cable box. You can plug in into any of the HDMI inputs. Regarding the talk of Spectrum app and Chromecast: Some other smart TVs have a Spectrum app that you can use to watch TV without a cable box. You sign into it like you would the Netflix app. This TV does not support the Spectrum app but you can cast to the TV from your phone. If you're going to be using a cable box, you don't have to worry about either of these things though.
