Basic vs. fancy is somewhat subjective. I'd argue that the price of the TV suggests it is pretty basic. It is 4K, has a few HDMI ports, and other standard ports. I don't think the market gets any more basic than that these days.

This TCL TV features various inputs that can be used to connect external devices.
