Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The remote itself has a button which when pressed activates the voice command feature. On the Youtube app for example, before you can use the voice feature, the tv will prompt you to setup the remote with the instructions on the screen in order for you to use the voice command. I use it all the time when I'm on the home screen to search for videos or movies, I just press the voice button, say what I'm looking for and then my searches appear. Not sure if that is the answer you were looking for, but hope it helps.
