“Are there control buttons directly on the tv for power, menu, input, volume and channels?”

• No there are no buttons on this Television. Had I'd known, I would have not purchased it. All televisions no matter how smart should have all control buttons on the television. What are they thinking. If the remote breaks you are out of luck.

• No - there are no physical buttons on the TV itself. It's crazy to me that this could be a possibility... but now I'll know to look for this in the future!
