The Fire TV Stick plugs into one of your HDMI ports and by default connects over your WiFi to stream. Optional Ethernet adapters are available if your WiFi isn't up to streaming high-bandwidth 4K video or you just prefer not to use WiFi. The Fire TV Stick comes with a mini-USB power port on its side that you'll connect with the included cable to the included wall power adapter. The Fire TV stick doesn't use the TV's USB port as stated in the other answer. The Fire TV Stick can be purchased with its own remote or you can use a phone app on the same network to act as the remote. Note that you won't be able to use the TV's Roku remote to control the Fire TV Stick. Hope this helps.

No TV manufacture can tell you (The consumer what you can and can't watch). A TV with Roku TV OS will work with a Fire TV stick no problem. hope that helped.
