This TCL Roku TV is compatible with most sound systems and can be connected via HDMI ARC, Optical, or the 3.5mm headphone jack. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The TV does not have RCA jacks. You can connect your sound system through the Digital Optical Audio Output or the headphone jack only. The HDMI ports also offer audio out. Caution on the Digital Optical Audio Output: The TV volume does NOT control the output from this port. Mute or change volume on the TV, the Digital Optical Audio keeps blaring away. At least that's how it works on my 4 series. I haven't tried it on our new 6 series (which I love!). Caution on the headphone jack: Plugging in here mutes the TV speakers, so your only audio will be through your Sony sound system. HDMI works for lots of audio devices but I don't know if your system has HDMI in.
