“Trying to connect a VGA signal to this TV with an VGA to HDMI adapter. The TV does not recognize any signal. Same VGA cable to a computer monitor works fine. Same adapter to a projector works fine. What could be the issue?”

YOU NEED A DESKTOP WITH AN HDMI OUTPUT TO CONNECT TO TCL TV ....HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND HAD TO FIND OUT THE HARD WAY....BOUGHT A LENOVO DESKTOP AND HOOKED UP THE HDMI TO PORT 4, SELECTED HDMI4 ON MY REMOTE AND EVERYTHING WAS FINE....MAKE SURE YOUR TV SETTINGS ARE SET TO "DIRECT" THO OR THE SCREEN WONT FIT THE TV.....WIDE AND ZOOM JUST DONT DO A COMPUTER JUSTICE
