This TV features a built-in Roku operating system. It does not require an external device to access the built-in Roku operating system and features. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

We couldn’t hear sound but no picture. After going through the troubleshooting with TCL they told me that there was nothing that they could do! It only has a 1-year warranty on it! We paid $499 plus tax for ours and now it’s a $499 piece of crap!!! Do not buy these cheaply made TCL tv’s! We could have kept our tv that we had from the 1990’s that still worked! It wasn’t smart but it showed a picture and had sound! I’m going out to get me a Vizio! Our 5-year Vizio upstairs still works and my kids plays video games on it! DON’T BUY TCL….!!!!
