Hi, I think you're talking about what is also referred as the "soap opera" effect, right? Every brand calls is something else, I've played around with the settings and cannot find the feature, also I don't see the feature referenced in any of the product literature. You may have to move up to the 6 Series to get the feature. Hope this helps

In my opinion, the 4K feature offers nice ultra HD with the resolution of full HD for enhanced clarity and details. Please note that "smooth motion" is relatively defined so it may look Ok to one but not so to the other. I'm not disappointed with its performance.
