Q: QuestionWhat is the brightness (nits)? I want to use in a outdoor covered patio, so needs to be bright.
Asked by GCazares.
- A:Answer One snapshot of a brightness value based on a special lab test isn’t a full reflection of a TVs true contrast or luminance performance while viewing real content over a period of time. The 5-Series delivers exceptional contrast and brightness within its class for dynamic performance in daytime or nighttime viewing. For detailed information, many TV review websites commonly publish performance measurements using their test methods. This provides exceptionally vivid and lifelike picture performance. You can also visit www.tcl.com/us/en/products/home-theater/5-series for more information about all of the amazing features our new 5-Series has to offer. Hope this helps! Q: QuestionWhat is the speed of the ethernet port on the Series 5?
Asked by SONTS.
- A:Answer I belive the customer (and I) are looking to know if the RJ-45 connector on the back is set for 10, 100, or 1000 Mbs which are normal wired ethernet speeds. This is separate from what the house Satellite/Fiber/Cable connection is which is typically sold as being from 50 to 1000 Mbs (i.e. Gig service). Thank you

Q: QuestionIs this 120hz native refresh rate? Thanks.
Asked by al2522.
- A:Answer Judging by TCL's answer, if you call it an answer, I would guess no. A Google search shows a possible lawsuit for TCL not disclosing proper refresh rates. Then there is the fact that this price point is almost always 60hz.
