When press * key look for pictures settings, this will take you into an advance settings, from here you can change picture modes, you can turn off soap opera effect, ect. Depending on the type of content you are watching it will give you the options to change pictures modes. For example, if are watching a movie that is in Dolby Vision when you go to settings it will give you the option to change from hdr bright to hdr black. You have to set up your picture modes for every different type of content you watch whether it's 1080p, 4k, HDR, or Dolby Vision. Once you set up your preferred picture settings for every different content you watch, it will save them. So When you go back and watch anything in 4k it will give you the picture settings you set for that type of content.
