“What is the difference between the 5 and 6 series TCL 65" TV”

• 2 word answer: dimming zones. What does this mean? You get MUCH better blacks out of the 6 Series. Don't even consider the 5 Series unless you want gray blacks. 5 Series also had backlight fluctuation issues that can be very annoying. Those issues are gone in the 6 Series. I am VERY happy with my 6 Series, and highly recommend it. Best TV I have ever owned by far!

• Way more Full array local dimming zones - 120 in the 65" - far more than the 5 series or sony/Samsung/lg/etc. The CNET review of the 65r615 explains the 6 series really well! I bought it, love it, highly suggest it.
