“Is this a 2018 or 2019 model? If so what's the difference?”

The only 2019 model is the 75" R series unit. I plan on getting this unit, though perhaps the 617 with the better remote, available elsewhere. I have had the 2017 55" P605 for over a year and it's great. Top rated TV in its price range...all of the P and R series are!
