Be sure that you are connecting you sound at via HDMI 3 on the TCL TV, as that is the only input that supports ARC. Also make sure that your firmware is up to date. Lastly, go to settings on the Tv and under system and control other devices (CEC) you choose ARC HDMI 3. Also, you may need to go to the Audio settings and turn TV Speakers to off and/or set S/PDIF and ARC to Auto Detect. After making these changes and also double checking your settings on your soundbar, restart both devices and see if that worked. As an alternative, you can also connect both devices via the Toslink fiber optic connection, if your soundbar has one. Good luck!
