Hello Thewonderer, Great question, yes you can connect a coax cable from a digital antenna and / or a VCR to the Antenna port of the TV. They when you scan for channels on the Antenna input make sure to select "I require channel 3 and 4" If you plan to connect the VCR to the TV and the Antenna to the VCR. Please try again later.This TV does not have any RCA ports (the kind with red, yellow and white connections, also known as "composite") but you can get a "RCA to HDMI" converter for about $15. I don't know whether it has an internal TV tuner but I kind of doubt it. If you have Cable TV or an external antenna, you don't need internet. However, there will be a lot more content available to you if you do have internet.
