A:AnswerI've looked everywhere, from amazon to ebay to offer up, and even on the TCL web site itself. They're not available anywhere. Even when you check on user forums, no one can find these table stands anymore and the local best buys have no idea when they will be in stock.
Also, these TVs state NOT VESA-compatible, so you can't use other table top stands. What you're sent to is the moving stand, which is $499, almost as much as the TV itself.
Maybe TCL expected everyone to wall-mount, so they didn't manufacture enough table stands. So if you are not wall-mounting this TV, I'd pass on this TV.

A:AnswerIt is not recommended to mount a TV above a fireplace. This precaution is given due to the fact that if a fireplace is used it will put off heat, and possibly smoke. This may cause damage to the TV if it is mounted directly above a fireplace. Additionally, in our quick start manual under 'Important Safety Instructions' we caution against installing our products near any heat sources like radiators, stoves, heat registers, etc. In order to maintain safety we caution against mounting at this location.
